Hello everyone, I am beyond excited to serve as your president this year! It’s unbelievable that I am already in my last year of college and I still remember attending my first Foresight meeting as a Freshman. Foresight really solidified my passion to pursue optometry and it will definitely help you find your passion as well (whether it is optometry or any other profession). If you have any questions regarding Foresight, I am more than happy to help you. But if you just want to chat about random topics (SoCal, Chipotle, traveling, movies, etc.) I am here for you! I look forward to meeting you all. π

Favorite College Life Hack: Writing out all my midterms/finals and important dates out on the SLC Semester-at-a-Glance Planning Calendar and posting it where I can see it. It really helps me plan ahead and keep track of everything!
Hi there! I was born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona for 17 years of my life before moving to San Diego, California 4 years ago. I love food, dancing, singing, badminton, animals, traveling, art, and music! Come join me on an adventure sometime π

I’m originally from SoCal – Costa Mesa/Huntington Beach, and recently moved to Mission Viejo – so if you live there, let’s hang out and talk about eyeballs! π
I’ve been loving my time in Berkeley and I knew from day 1 that I was pre-optometry, though I was too shy to join Foresight my 1st semester because I thought spring admits should wait for the new year (boy, I was so wrong!).
One would probably catch me in Berkeley drinking boba, with my pre-optometry buddies, doing outreach with Project Vision, in the ceramics art studio, or petting dogs! I’m really excited for this year with Foresight!!!

Favorite Class Taken at UCB: IB C144: Animal Behavior
Favorite Campus Study Spot: The Rosberg Reading Room in Doe. It feels very friendly and has plenty of natural light!
Favorite College Life Hack: Learn the routes of all the buses to and from campus! The routes of some buses can overlap, so if it applies, then you arenβt forced to wait for only one bus (Iβm looking at you, 51B).
Hi everyone! My name is Natalie, and Iβm excited to be your Foresight treasurer this year! When Iβm not studying, working, or helping out with Foresight, I like to walk around the Marina, exclaim over animals, and play video games with my friends. Being out-of-state (Iβm from Eugene, Oregon), it was hard to get used to the Bay Area and find a community here at Cal. However, joining Foresight exposed me to such a friendly and encouraging community and made me feel right at home! I’m really looking forward to meeting you all this year! Feel free to talk with me about optometry, UC Berkeley, and things in general!

Favorite College Life Hack: Place laundry dryer sheets over air vents (while being careful not to block the entire system) to make the room smell better.
I like spending my free time with my family & friends outdoors especially somewhere scenic. When I joined Foresight, my first year at Cal, I was impressed with every aspect of the club. The remarkable organization, dedicated officers, and friendly members motivated me to take advantage of all the opportunities the club provided. I am grateful for my experiences with Foresight and I hope I can help create a pleasant one for you too as Co-conference chair this year. Beyond Fall Conference, I want to get to know you better! I look forward to meeting you all!

Hi everyone! My name is Carissa and I’m so excited to be your Web Coordinator/Historian this year! A year and a half ago I made the decision to join my first club, Foresight, and right away I found my Cal family! Here’s a bit about me:
I’m from SoCal, Ventura County. My interests include graphic design and old film photography (I love my trusty Cannon A1)! In my free time when I’m not designing I love watching Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, and my guilty pleasure–Korean dramas. You’ll often find me around Pacific Cookie Company, Minor Hall, or lost in Dwinelle (you’d think I’d be able to find my way by now…). Feel free to reach out to me to talk about Foresight, vision science research, design, or anything really!
