Each year during the Fall, our optometry club works with UCBSO to plan Fall Conference – an amazing resource for navigating the in’s and out’s of completing your optometry school application. This year’s Spring Conference aims to further strengthen your holistic application by providing you with the means to build soft, interpersonal skills also essential to being a successful applicant.

Here are a few presentations and workshops you can look forward to as an attendee of this year’s Spring Conference:

– Mock Interview: First-hand Simulation of MMIs with Current UCBSO Students

– How to Master Confidence & Communication: Finding Your Voice as a Young Professional

– Personality Assessments: Understanding Your Strengths and Weaknesses

– Professional Development Workshops

The goal of this year’s conference is to provide you with more insight and resources to building your own personal brand. With a better understanding of self, you’ll have a starting point for crafting meaningful personal statements, as well as an outlook toward your future professional career. Hope to meet you all on Conference Day!
